Who Is Hiding on the Farm?
Little Cow plays hide-and-seek on the farm and finds her friends by their sounds.
Little Cow wanted to play hide-and-seek. "I will count to five," she said. "One, two, three, four, five. Ready or not, here I come!"
Little Cow looked in the barn. She heard a sound behind the hay. "Oink, oink."
"Who is hiding there?" asked Little Cow. "It must be Pig!"
Out came Pig, with hay on her pink nose. "You found me!" she said.
Little Cow looked by the fence. She heard a sound under a bucket. "Cluck, cluck."
"Who is hiding there?" asked Little Cow. "It must be Hen!"
Up went the bucket, and out came Hen. "You found me!" she said.
Little Cow looked by the pond. She heard a sound in the tall grass. "Baa, baa."
"Who is hiding there?" asked Little Cow. "It must be Sheep!"
Out came Sheep, shaking her woolly head. "You found me!" she said.
"Now it is my turn to hide," said Little Cow. She hid behind a tree. But she was so happy that she could not stay quiet. "Moo!" Everyone laughed. "We found you, Little Cow!"
