One night, Luna the Moon was glowing softly over the sleepy town. All her star friends twinkled around her.

Suddenly β€” zip! β€” a tiny star slipped and tumbled down, down, down, until it landed in a meadow.

"Oh no!" cried the little star. "I'm lost! How will I get home?"

Luna leaned down and shone her silver light over the meadow. "Don't worry, little one. I will help you."

A firefly flew by. "I can light the way!" she said, blinking her glowing tail.

An owl hooted from a tree. "I can see far in the dark. Your home is up there, next to the Big Dipper."

A kind breeze whooshed through the grass. "Hold on tight," it whispered. "I will lift you up!"

So the breeze lifted the little star β€” up past the treetops, up past the clouds β€” while the firefly blinked and the owl pointed the way.

Luna reached out her moonbeams and gently placed the star back in its spot. Twinkle, twinkle! The little star shone brighter than ever.

"Thank you, friends," it sparkled.

And if you look up tonight, you might see it β€” a tiny star, twinkling a thank-you to everyone who helped.
