Rory the T. rex stood outside Dinoville School. His tummy felt like it was full of fluttering pterodactyls.

"What if nobody likes me?" he whispered. "My arms are so short. And my roar is so LOUD."

Inside, the classroom was full of dinosaurs. There was a Triceratops with three shiny horns, a long-necked Brachiosaurus, and a spiky Stegosaurus.

At art time, Rory tried to reach the crayons on the top shelf. His short arms couldn't reach. He felt his cheeks get hot.

Then Bella the Brachiosaurus stretched her long neck. "Here you go!" She dropped the crayons right into his claws.

"Thanks," said Rory, smiling a little.

At recess, a ball got stuck high in a tree. Everyone groaned. Rory had an idea. He took a big breath and ROARED! The tree shook, and the ball bounced down.

"WOW!" cheered the other dinosaurs. "That was the best roar ever!"

At lunch, Rory sat with Bella, Trixie the Triceratops and Stompy the Stegosaurus. They laughed and shared snacks.

When his mom picked him up, Rory was grinning from ear to ear. "Everybody is good at something different," he said. "Bella can reach high, and I can roar loud. Together, we make a great team!"
